Book Licker

16/11/2006 - Deacon has an interesting habit with the touch and feel books. When you ask him to touch the page, he dives forward to lick it! I think he loves tasting the different textures. Very strange, but he likes it.

My baby is disappearing

16/11/2006 - less than six weeks off his first birthday and Deacon is looking like a real little boy. Sadly my baby is dissappearing. Boy the year has gone quick.

What a mess Deacon Campbell !!!

16/11/2006 - Oh my gosh, this boy has learnt how to pull everything out of his toy box and spread it around all over the lounge room floor. Every now and then he turns around to check on how his "mess" is progressing. Cant wait till he can learn to put it all back in the box! Or will he ever learn this skill????

It's our Christmas Boy!

15/11/2006 - This is my favourite of all the photos we took of him dressed up in his Christmas gear.

Go to sleep!

30/10/2006 - Someone was supposed to be having a morning nap, when I heard a loud ratteling noise. It was Deacon proudly standing up in his cot (for the first time) shaking the rails. We had good fun for at least an hour continually laying someone back to sleep, until eventually he got tired and gave up. Gone are the days of wrapping and sleeping soundly, the days of restless sleeping have just begun.
Note: his top reads "If Mum says no just ask Dad"

Ducks

20/09/2006 - One cold afternoon two ducks came to visit us, and Deacon loved them! These guys have become regulars to our neighbourhood lawns in the winter months.

"Wait......

I just have to hitch up my pants, then I'll do my best Michael Flatley impersonation for you"
17/09/2006

"Not without my............

DUCK!" Yes, sadly Deacon will not go anywhere without one of his little plastic bath ducks. He just loves them, and he always has one in his hand. He even has to take one shopping with him.

Too big

We soon discovered Deacon was too big for his bouncer when he could roll from his front to his back with ease. It started to look a bit to unsafe.
